Poirot

I love this funny little man so much, the way he's so meticulous and old-fashioned and conceited, but also very smart and dapper.

Arthur Hastings/Hercule Poirot

I love how especially the early episodes have so many casually domestic scenes between the two of them that make them seem like a couple more often than not. And their outfits! Poirot with his meticulous old-fashioned style, obviously, but Hastings' modern look isn't bad either. They just look so dapper together! Oh, and the contrast when Hastings is especially casual in his shirt-sleeves or with rolled-up sleeves...

Hercule Poirot/Mr Shaitana

Poirot and Shaitana are in many ways very similar in character, if you think about it: a little conceited, smart, charming, and they are both very peculiar about their looks and both always look so dapper and a bit quaint and flamboyant. It's a pity they don't share many scenes, so anything with the two of them next to each other would make me happy.

Nakiridaani Island

I love Nakiridaani with all those lush plants and animals and the culture of Iskai. I can spend hours walking around there, looking at stuff and talking to people! Since the graphics are so old and limited I'd be thrilled to see anything in your style and how you'd imagine the place to look like.

Old Former Building

I've always been fascinated by the idea of growing plants into buildings and furniture, and the Old Former building must once have been an enormous example of that. I also have a weakness for lost places and artificial structures being reclaimed by nature. Since the graphics are so old and limited, I'd be thrilled to see anything in your style and how you'd imagine the place to look like.

Drirr/Rainer Hofstedt

Drirr, the impulsive fighter and Rainer, the level-headed scientist, are pretty much opposites. Add to that the cultural and physical differences and how they start out knowing nothing about each other's species, and it makes very curious to see how anything between them would play out. There's a titbit of dialog where Drirr's rash actions and Rainer's prudence clash in a bicker-y way that just hits all my buttons.

I'm obsessed with all things Iskai, and Sira just looks so pretty, has awesome plants-y magic and just seems like an all-around good friend. Siobhan is a bad-ass tank complementing Sira's skills and together they make a powerful duo. &hearts;

Albion is abandonware and as such downloadable in various places, and there are walkthroughs, Let's Plays etc available. It's a very long game, but pretty much everything I'm referencing above happens early on.

I've loved the comics since childhood, and I like it just as much as an adult. The adventures are fun, the humour is great, and it's just an all around feel-good canon for me. Asterix and Obelix obviously belong together, and and I love how inseparable they are, and especially how everyone treats that as a given.

Fulliautomatix/Unhygienix

I've loved the comics since childhood, and I like it just as much as an adult. The adventures are fun, the humour is great, and it's just an all around feel-good canon for me. Fulliautomatix and Unhygienix are hilarious together. I love their long-practised ease at pushing other's buttons, and the passion with which they like to fight with each other really makes me wonder if it isn't some form of pigtails-pulling or foreplay.

I love Alan, grumpy, quiet, smart, confident in his field of work and in a crisis, a dry sense of humour, solitary and self-contained. I love the dinosaurs and Alan's passion for his field of work and his wonder upon meeting the live dinosaurs for the first time.

I love the juxtaposition of the cute and funny art style with the fighting game mechanics. And Oleander, who likes to be the serious, respectable champion suddenly being so flustered when Fred says his same parfume as that doe you like line line—awww, that hits all my buttons. Cashmere must have left quite an impression, and she probably knows what she wants. ;)

Winter Begonia (TV)

Cheng Fengtai/Shang Xirui

The show is just soooo pretty! The way it is shot, the colours schemes, the costumes (not only the opera costumes, but Fengtai's whole wardrobe as well!). Xirui's character has so many and I love the contrast between his delicate side as an artist and female opera role, and his physical strength and martial arts skills on the other. Fengtai is his polar opposite and yet they get on so well together, and his fascination for Xirui and all the heart-eyes he's giving him are adorable.
