I'm going to nominate and request Albion for Yuletide again this year. Not sure how my chances are for getting a fill, but a girl can dream, right? Actually, Yuletide has already started working its magic, since while I poked the internet pondering my nominations, I found things! Not fanfic, because I doubt anyone has ever written an Albion fic, but still. Time for a resources post!

Albion is a computer game from the nineties. One reason I think it'd lend itself quite well for fic is that it does a great job at world building. There's tons of background information in the game if you care to talk to people, a very interesting alien race, an exotic alien planet...

A live play on Youtube. I haven't watched it all, but the guy's commentary is quite funny and he voice-acts all the dialogue. <3

Blogging Albion is very liberal and creative in paraphrasing the events of the game, which makes it fun to read but not necessarily a resource for what's actually going on in the game. It has also nice thoughts about game design scattered throughout, and an interesting speculation about future events on Albion.
