During this last little bit of signups, you may want to check the signup summary or the ao3 app to see if you're matchable (e.g. have someone who is requesting a tag that you are offering). In this exchange, participants that aren't matchable will not be contacted after the deadline. Instead, any participant who is unmatchable after signups close will be matched at random to someone requesting Creator's Choice of Doodle.

Setting: Creator's Choice of Sunrise/Sunset

Nominator, just for clarity's sake, are you asking for "either a sunrise or a sunset", or are you requesting a tag about the ship "Sunrise/Sunset". In this event the slash is used to denote a romantic and/or sexual relationship, and any tags that use it to mean "either/or" like I just did in this sentence are reworded to avoid ambiguity about what the slash means! Either tag is great, but I wanted a confirmation from you about your intentions before I approved it or edited the tag to be more clear. Ty! :D

Tag Rejections

During the last-minute spurt of nominations, a CCoD tag got rejected in error. Nominator, Object: Creator's Choice of Still Life (CCoD) is being added back into the tagset. I noticed that it had gotten caught in the middle of tags I needed to query. Sorry about the mix-up!!

Nominator, I feel your vibe, but these tags are too specific for fandom-specific nominations. As I mention in the nomination rules for the event:

General AUs that can be summed up in a short tag may be nominated as part of the character tag. Any AU that can't be clearly summed up in one or two words should be saved for the optional details of your request.

We allow much more prompt-like kinds of noms in the Creator's Choice of Doodle fandom, but with a few exceptions, we generally don't accept nominations this specific under a fandom heading.

If you would like to have character or pairing tags put into the tagset that are phrased like a standard character or Group: nominations, please let me know! As for the painting patisches for Kendall and Logan, that information will need to go into your optional details.

If you are interested in the painting pastiches being CCoD tags that aren't attached to specific characters, I'm happy to add those into the tagset under the CCoD fandom for you.

Any Characters as a Remix of My God; Help Me to Survive This Deadly Love (Dmitri Vrubel Mural) (CCoD)

Nominator, this tag was rejected because there isn't enough of a narrative context for a public mural about 20th century political leaders to remove it from its 20th century politics context. 20th Century Politics RPF content is not allowed in this event as nominated character or group tags, and I'm extending that to include prompted paintings/artworks. I apologize for the rule not being clear--I will make it more clear in future rounds of D4D that the 20th & 21st century political RPF ban extends to statues, murals, and paintings of 20th & 21st century political figures that are nominated as a direct remix requests in CCoD.

I just finished my fic, and I'm moving on to one of my other WIPs.
I'm still writing my current fic for the most part.
I'm starting a new fic, and have the first draft going.
I'm getting some planning/researching done.
I'm taking a break at the moment.
Sadly, I have other plans that don't involve writing.

There's just a little over 24 hours left before the tagset closes for nominations! (countdown)

Signups continue through Sunday evening in the Pacific time zone (countdown to signups closing), so there's still time to join up if you're interested!

Nominator, when I queried this tag with my group of fandom tag helpers, none of us could decide what "subject" referred to. Some of us thought "subject" referred to someone being face-hugged, and some of us thought that "subject" referred to the facehugger itself (and one of us thought it might be the egg).

To remove ambiguity, could we reword this tag? If you need more than one tag to cover all of the possibilities you are interested in, we can add them all to the tagset for you!

Please read the rules before you sign up. To quickly sum up:

Requests

You can request a minimum of 1 fandom, and a maximum of 10.
You can request 1-20 tags per fandom.
You can repeat fandom requests.
You can sign up with one fandom, but you must request 3+ different fandoms to be guaranteed a gift.

Offers

You can offer to create for 1-10 fandoms, with 1-20 characters/ships per fandom.
Doodle 4 Doodle uses OR matching. This means you will match to ONE tag.
If you are unmatchable when signups close (e.g. you are offering tags that no one else is requesting), you will be matched at random to someone requesting a Creator's Choice of Doodle tag.

Nominations Are Still Open!

If you're signing up and realize you forgot to nominate any fandoms, or characters/ships/objects/places (etc), you can mosey on over to the tagset!
The tagmods will be approving nominations several times per day until nominations close.
Nominations close ~48 hours before signups close (countdown to nominations close).
If you've nominated anything in the past day or two that is not visible in the tagset, check to see if it's been queried in a recent nomination query post. If it hasn't, please post here and let me know.

Since nominations and signups are open concurrently, if you see any duplicate or migrating tags in your fandoms, comment here ASAP if you notice any issues. Once a tag has been requested by someone, it can't be corrected in the tagset.
